Willie "Bill" Edward Josey was born in Alden, Oklahoma, on February 10, 1937, to Willie Washington and Helen Elizabeth (Shackleford) Josey. He passed away on Friday, May 31, at his home in Apache. He was 82.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, June 6, from 5-7 P.M. at Crews Funeral Home. There will be no viewing. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Crews Funeral Home.

Bill was a 1955 graduate of Apache High School. He proudly served the in United States Army for 4 years. On August 31, 1989, he married Gwen Waller in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He owned his own fencing construction company. He enjoyed hunting and collecting arrowheads. Bill enjoyed being with his family at Lake Texoma. He loved attending his grandchildren's baseball games.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Gwen; his children: Chris and wife Molly Hrbacek, Molly and husband Josh Gaddis, Steven and wife Jessica Waller, Jeremy and wife Tiffany Josey, Shelby Josey, DeeDe Josey, Sherrie PooLaw, and Jodi Upton; grandchildren: Derek Blackburn, Cameron Hrbacek, Ava Hrbacek, Jaxon Waller, Hayden Gaddis, Gabi Waller, Kinley Gaddis, Amelia Josey, Jace Waller, Liam Josey, Adrianna Josey, Briana Russell, Dylan Upton, Bryson Perdasofpy, Devin Upton, and Christian Perdasofpy; several great grandchildren; brothers: Jimmy and wife Belinda Josey of Anadarko and Tony and wife Shirley Josey of Apache; sister, Jerri and husband Edward Skinner of Fletcher; sister-in-law, Teresa Josey; and lots of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, David Josey; nephew, Joey Josey; and niece, Sky Josey.
