JOSEY, William Jackson, 58, of Trilby, Fla., passed away Thursday, August 16, 2007, in Trilby, Fla. He was born August 4, 1949, in McKenzie, Ala., to Richard Clifton and Nettie (Brooks) Josey, and came to Trilby 53 years ago from Alabama. Mr. Josey was a veteran of the U.S. Army and he was a meter reader for a utility company. He is survived by a son, Christopher Josey (Rebecca) of Monroeville, Ala.; a granddaughter, Caytlin Rae Josey of Dade City, Fla.; his mother, Nettie Kates of Dade City, Fla.; a brother, Richard Clifford Josey (Lina) of Bushnell, Fla.; two sisters, Betty Jean Parker (Bobby) of Dade City, Fla., and Yvonne Curies of Dade City, Fla.; and former wife, Barbara Messer of Trilby, Fla. A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2007, at Whitfield Funeral Home.
