William C. Josey, 70, lost his battle with cancer at his home in McCool on April 22, 2009.

He moved to Mississippi from Florida to be near his grandchildren. He was a Jack-of all-trades and was depended upon by many to fix whatever needed fixing.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Josey; three sisters, Ester Lawhon, Mildred Conell, Joann Rogers; one brother, Gerry Hart; two sons, Bill Josey and Ray Josey; four grandchildren, Angela Chapman, Melissa Sellers, Devin Josey, Stephanie Josey; one great-grandchild, Kelsiea Chapman; two nephews, Bryan Campbell, Jason Campbell; one niece, Catherine Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit and Bernice Hart and his granddaughter Pricilla Sellers.

In a final act of love Josey donated his body to the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Friends and family will get together to celebrate the life of William Josey at a later date.
