Wendy Kay Josey, TROUTMAN Wendy Kay Josey, 51, of Troutman, passed away Monday, Aug. 5, 2013. She was born in Melbourne, Fla., May 26, 1962, to Billy and Patricia Josey. She was a graduate of South Iredell High School. Wendy was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She loved many and was loved by many. She is survived by her sons, Daniel Wilson and Dennis Wilson, of Troutman; daughter, Jennifer Benfield, of Troutman; sister, Cindy Abshire, of Pounding Mill, Va.; and four grandchildren, Zoe, Zach and Zander Benfield and Peytin Wilson. She was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Elaine Josey Hall. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Troutman Funeral Home Friday, Aug. 9, from 6 to 8 p.m., with a memorial service beginning at 7 p.m., officiated by the Rev. Connor Lambert. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Troutman Church of God, 478 S. Main St., Troutman, NC 28166. Troutman Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Wendy Kay Josey.
