Mrs. Gross died at her home on January 16, 2016 surrounded by her family.

Eileen was born January 18, 1931 in Almy, Wyoming, daughter of John Willard and Reva (Neville) Morris. She graduated from Evanston High School. On August 23, 1948, she married Robert Josey in Evanston. She later married Robert Gross on August 16, 1968 in Almy, Wyoming.

Mrs. Gross lived in many different places including Evanston, Canada, Greybull, Lyman and has lived in Riverton since 1994. Eileen worked as a dispatcher for the Riverton Police Department, had numerous different waitressing jobs and owned and operated Eileen's Sew-n-Sew. She loved to read, crochet, embroider, quilt and make ceramics and porcelain dolls. Eileen was a member of the Homemakers OAO Club, Daughter of the Utah Pioneers and Porcelain Doll Club. She was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survivors include her sons, William "Bill" (Kim Fields) Gross of Evanston, WY, Ross (Jill) Gross of Westford, Mass,; daughters, Diana Wilson (Robert Kramer) of Tulsa, OK, Dayna (Larry) Harvey of Evanston, Carrie Gillard of Evanston, Dawna (Ken) Engle of Riverton, WY and Lauri (Gary) Biebinger of Kemmerer, WY; Step-children, Cathy (Bert) Short of Las Vegas, NV, Robert "Steven" (Anne) Gross of Clearfield, UT, Russell (Annette) Gross of Franklinton, LA, and Roger Gross of IN. Brothers, John Morris of Evanston, WY and Lloyd Morris of Sylmar, CA; sister, Eunice Jones of Auberry, CA; 33 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert E. Gross; daughter, Linda Saline; brothers, Junior Morris, Frank Morris and George Morris; sisters, Joy Rees and Selena Cook.

Funeral services for Vivian "Eileen" Gross, 84, will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A viewing will be held 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, January 19th at Davis Funeral Home and also one hour before service time at the church on Wednesday. A second funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 in Evanston, WY at the LDS Sage Street Ward Chapel at 2:00 pm with a viewing 1 hour prior to service.

Interment will follow at the Evanston City Cemetery.
