Virginia Lois Josey Meador      13 Jan 1941 18 Jan 2017

On January 13, 1941, God blessed this world and Lubbock, Texas with Virginia Lois Meador. Daughter of Claude James and Virginia Josey, Lois spent most of her childhood in the windy and dusty parts of west Texas, living in the great small towns of Lubbock and Post.

Shortly after graduating Texas Tech in 1961 with an X-Ray Technician Certificate, Lois married Steve Meador of
Plainview, Texas. They celebrated their fifty-fifth wedding anniversary August 5th. Lois was the proud and doting mother of three children, Melanie, Terry and Perry, and the beloved grandmother of four.

In 1981, Lois became a breast cancer survivor; this event would change her life, as well as the lives of others, forever. As a mammographer, Lois immensely enjoyed helping people feel comfortable and relaxed as she treated each with loving compassion. Lois enjoyed a wonderful career doing what she loved, helping and caring for others.
