Obituary of Theresa Laverne Josey

Josey, Theresa Laverne- 61 Sheet Harbour, died peacefully under the care of her sister after a short battle with cancer. Born in Sheet Harbour August 16 1961 she was a daughter of Thomas Walsh and the late Carol (Josey) Walsh. Theresa was strong willed and spoke her mind, she loved her grandchildren immensely. She was always in her garden with her thoughts ahead to making pickles, which she delivered to many. Theresa had a heart of gold. After her battle with cancer her strong heart reached out to her family to celebrate her life, with family gathering for three days. Survived by children; Judy Millier, Halifax, Thomas Josey “T.J.”, Sheet Harbour, grandchildren; Issacc, Emma, Blake, Liam and Kiley, husband David Josey, father Thomas Walsh, sisters; June (John) Asprey, Jennifer Walsh (Jeff MacDonald), brothers; Larry Walsh (Chelsea), Brian Walsh (Selena), her fury friends; Chubbs, Nicki, Little One and Lou Lou. She was predeceased by husband Mark Evans, mother Carol Walsh, grandparents; Mary (Alveda) & Boyd Josey and Freda & Maurice Walsh. The family would like to thank the palliative care and continuing care team as well as Dr. Atkinson and Dr. MacDonald. Cremation has taken place.
