Shirley A. Mylles peacefully entered into rest, surrounded by her family, after a short illness on Thursday, January 14, 2021 in Fruitland Park, Florida. She was born April 18, 1936 to Elmer Red and Evelyn Josey in Stafford, New York.

Shirley married Bruce Mylles on July 30, 1955 and proceeded to raise 3 children, as well as the many strays that came into the family along the way. After retirement in 1994, Shirley lived life to the fullest every day: motorcycle riding and traveling the country in an RV with her soulmate, Bruce. They enjoyed themselves for many fun-filled years.

Besides her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her loving husband, Bruce on January 8, 2020.

She is survived by her three children, Bruce Mylles of Kansas City, Missourri, Brian (Cindy) Mylles of Inverness, Florida and Shelia (Lester) Conklin of Port Jervis, New York; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as many, many souls she welcomed into her life along the way.

Joint Funeral Services with Military Honors will be scheduled for both Shirley and Bruce at a later date, taking place in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
