MACON, Ga. - Robert A. Josey, age 75, died January 3, 2005 at his residence. Funeral services will be January 6, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Rev. Rod Callahan and Pastor Faye Williams will officiate. Mr. Josey was born in Washington Co. Georgia and has lived in Macon for the past 50 years. He was a machinist for the Indand Container Co. and was a member of Glad Tidings Tabernacle. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He survived by his wife, Inez P. Josey of Macon; son, Curtis Josey of Macon; daughters, Donna Harrell of Macon and Debra Herndon of Forsyth; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Julie Josey of Bartow and Peggy Thigpen of Milledgeville and brothers, Howard Josey of Davisboro, Ralph Josey of Harrison and Hanson Josey of Augusta. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 5, 2005 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Crest Lawn Funeral Home and the fa mily may be contacted at 4248 Irving Ave. Crest Lawn Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
