Rhett Dean Josey passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020, in Naples, FL of natural causes. Born January 16, 1964, in New Orleans, LA, Rhett was raised in Mountain Brook, AL and graduated from Mountain Brook High School and University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Rhett's infectious personality, kindhearted generosity, dapper style, and exquisite interior design skills will be sorely missed by his multitude of friends as well as clients. Rhett's work will be remembered across Southwest Florida in both private and commercial properties. Rhett opened his heart and home to many people and shared his many experiences from his incredible memory with friends and strangers alike. Rhett loved The Big Apple, having lived there, and took his family there on a wonderful trip in 2018. He and his brother, Mark, also celebrated their birthdays in NYC earlier this year. The Breakers Palm Beach held a special place in Rhett's heart having enjoyed many visits there with two of his best friends. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all that knew him, but most comforting is that he is now with his mom, dad, Checkers, and Dolly.

Rhett is lovingly remembered by his brothers Gregg and Mark Josey, niece Caroline Josey, and numerous cousins.
