Norman Earl Josey 5 Mar 1939 – 24 Jul 2007

Funeral services for Earl Josey, 68, of Anacoco, wee held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2007, in the Good Hope Baptist Church in Anacoco the Brothers E.J. Dantin and Thomas Harrelson officiated. Burial followed in the Good Hope Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville. Earl passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at the M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston after a brief battle with cancer. He was born in Anacoco. An U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jeff and Myrtie Lee Josey; brothers R.J. Josey, Peck Josey and sister Gladys Elwanda Josey. Earl is survived by his children, RaeAnn and husband Mike Dowden of Anacoco, Connie and husband Gus Williams of Anacoco; Ty and wife Sherry Keimig of Webster, Texas and Donna Keimig of LaMarque, Texas; brothers Tommy Josey of Anacoco and Mickey Josey of Baytown, Texas; sister Sharon Neely of Anacoco; grandchildren Wesley Dannelley, Cory Dannelley, Josie Hansard, Kory Keimig and Mary Marie Keimig; special family friend Connie Ziegelmeryer of LaMarque, Texas.
