Myola Josey Powell, 74, Beloved Wife, Mother and Sibling, passed away at home Tuesday night, January 29, 2008, after a brave fight with an illness. She was born in Bainbridge, GA, in 1933. She was married to Earl Powell in 1949 and she and her husband moved to Pensacola, Florida, to raise their family. After retiring, she and her husband moved to Milton, Florida in 1983.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Earl Powell; daughter, Pamela Morris and spouse Lamar Morris; daughter, Sidney E. Craig and spouse Leonard Craig; son, Walter M. Powell; son, Wendell H. Powell and spouse Denise Powell; daughter, Virginia Stader; grandchildren, Bill Garner and family, Casey Garner, John E. Holeton Jr. and family, Amanda Nance, Jennifer Collingsworth and family, Jessica Powell, Heather Stader, Nicole Smith and family, Wendell H. Powell Jr., Johnathan Jamie Powell, Danny Morris and family, Tanya Funk and family, Heather Pitchford and family, Leonard Craig, Jr. and family, Katherine Coggins and family, Shirley Pittenger and family, Sister Margaret Howard and family, Sister Myrtle Fowler and family, Sister Mary Inlow and family, Brother William W. "Sonny" Josey and family, Brother Clarence Russell "Rusty" Josey and family.
Funeral Services will be
10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel, 6405 West Highway 90, Milton, FL.
Visitation will be from
6 - 8 pm, Friday, February 1, 2008 at, Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel. Pastor Doug Holmes will be officiating with LEWIS FUNERAL HOME Milton Chapel directing.
Burial will follow at
Crain Cemetery.
