Marie E. Josey, 56, died Saturday, Aug. 28th 2010 in the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham.

She leaves her father, Allen R. Josey of South Grafton; a brother, Robert A. Josey and his wife Elaine of Douglas; three sisters, Bernadette LeBlanc and her husband Garry of South Grafton, Marguerite Burgoyne and her husband Rick of Holden, ME and Lucille Vincent of South Grafton; her best friend and business partner, Jane A. Malley of Millbury; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many beloved friends. Marie was born in
Worcester and is predeceased by her mother, Lucille M. (Patient) Josey.

She graduated from the former
Marian High School in Worcester and attended Johnson & Wales College graduating in 1978. Marie was owner and operator of Marie's Family Restaurant and Catering for over 30 years.

In 2005 she was inducted into the St. Peter Marian High School Sports Hall of Fame for basketball and she also received the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award in 2009 from the Grafton Lions Club. Marie enjoyed life to the fullest, was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing all sports and traveling extensively. Most of all she enjoyed her home on the lake and riding her jet ski with her dog, D O G.

Marie's funeral will be held Tuesday, August 31st from the Mulhane Home for Funerals,
45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are Monday, August 30th from 5 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MetroWest Homecare & Hospice, 85 Lincoln St., Framingham, MA 01702.
