Mabel Idell Menius

SALISBURY - Mabel Idell Menius, 89, of Salisbury went to be with her Lord Friday, Aug. 10, 2012 at Rowan Regional Medical Center.

She was born
June 17, 1923, in Rowan County to the late Zeb and Retha Rogers Menius. Mabel was educated in the Rowan County school system.

Her employment included PPG Insustries in
Lexington and City of Lexington where she was a public transportation driver.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Glenn Josey who died
Feb. 13, 1995; a daughter, Patricia Josey Benfield who died July 20, 2010; a grandson, Joshua Combs who died May 1, 2001; and a granddaughter, Teresa Mechelle Euart who died Feb. 1972.

Survivors include three daughters, Ruby Josey Starnes and husband Johnny of Lexington, Bertha Daniels of Granite Quarry and Ethel Josey of
Mt. Holly; 18 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Service: A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday Aug. 11, 2012 at Grace Lutheran Church cemetery conducted by Rev. Jerome M. Cloninger.
