Loretta Opal Josey Head, age 82, of Lucedale, MS, died Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Head was a homemaker and a member of Sand Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by one son, and two daughters; Mavis Diane Amann and Sheila Ann Head. She is survived by her husband, Rex Head, two sons; William Bond of Mobile, AL, Gene Head of Lucedale, MS, four brothers; Harrell Josey of Abilene, TX, Otis Josey, of Wade, MS, Gene Josey, of Avon Park, FL, Lavon Josey, of Wade, MS; two sisters; Vermel McLean of Leakesville, MS, Evelyn Bradley, of Lucedale, MS, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. The family will receive friends Thursday, October, 27, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Freeman Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM Friday, October 28, 2011 at the Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Williamson officiating. Interment will be at Sand Hill Baptist Cemetery, Lucedale, MS.
