Lower Sackville. It is with broken hearts that we announce the tragic passing of Loretta Lynn Marie at the young age of 43. Loretta passed away Wednesday, March 5} 2014, in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII, after succumbing to her injuries from a tragic accident. Born in Brantford, Ont., on January 10, 1971, and raised in Marinette, Loretta leaves to mourn her best friend and daughter, Hillary Murphy; her loving parents, Brady and Rose (Currie) Josey; caring brothers, Charles, Chris (Joanie), Jason (Heather); and many loving nieces and nephews: many aunts, uncles and cousins. She also leaves behind her partner, Scott Reteff, and his children, Kyle, Jacob, Jessie and Grace, whom she loved as her own. For the past few years, Loretta owned and operated S & L Worx. Prior to this, she was regional manager at Hertz Canada. She was. a friend and a mentor to many. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. She enjoyed her weekend excursions to her cottage; enjoying her four wheeling and she looked forward to her summer gatherings with friends and family. Visitation today 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., in A. L. Mattatal Funeral Home, 217 Portland St., Dartmouth and Sunday 2-4 and 7~9 p.m., with prayers at 7:30 p.m., in D. S. Crowell and Son Funeral Home, 22558 High- way 7, Sheet Harbour. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 10 at 1 p.m., in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Sheet Harbour. Father Francis officiating. Burial in the church cemetery, reception to follow in the church hall.
