Deceased Name: Lloyd George Josey

MOSS POINT, Miss. - Lloyd George Josey, a former boilermaker, died Sunday at his home. He was 78.

Josey, a native of George County and a resident of Moss Point, was a deacon at Sweetwater Baptist Church. He also was member of Leakesville Lodge No. 420 F&AM and was a Shriner with York Rite and Scottish Rite.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Josey of Moss Point; one son, George Josey of Leakesville, Miss.; two daughters, Brenda Snell of Leakesville and Wanda Helms of Moss Point; one brother, Hugo Josey of Lakeland, Fla.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Freeman Funeral Home in Leakesville, where the service is set for 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery in Leakesvil
