Lenoir Cox Josey
GREENWOOD - Lenoir Cox Josey,
91, homemaker, died Saturday in Greenville. Graveside services
will be at 3 p.m. today at Oktibbeha Memorial Gardens in Starkville. Wilson &
Knight Funeral Home has charge. She was a Sunday school teacher at St. John's United Methodist Church. Mrs. Josey, the
widow of James Carlyle Josey, leaves three daughters, Dot Crocker of
Greenville, Lenoir Booth of Prentiss and Virginia Bush of Clarksdale; three
sisters, Virginia Lance of Mayhew, Joan Coleman of Tibbee and Marcella Rinehart
of Chula Vista, Calif., five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a
great-great-grandchild. The family requests that memorials be sent to St. John's United Methodist Church or the charity of
the donor's choice.
