Lee Roy Josey, age 75, of 128 Youngblood Road died Saturday morning, May 26, in a local hospital.

He was a native of Washington County but had made his home in Milledgeville for several years. Mr. Josey was a retired carpenter and a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Alva Lee Wright, Mrs. Doris Clance and Mrs. Laura MsDade, all of Milledgeville; on son Mr. Royce Josey of Milledgeville; eight brothers, Harley Delma Josey of McBean, Mr. W. T. Josey of Milledgeville, Elijah Addison Josey and Mr. Jim Josey of South Carolina, Mr. Fred and Mr. Henry Josey, both of Florida, Mr. Noah Josey of Riddleville and Mr. Rufus Josey of Dallas, Georgia, Ten grandchildren and one great grandchuld also survive.
