Lee Isla Evans Josey, 81, wife of the late D.K. Josey, died Monday, May 22, 2017, at Carolina Hospital Systems, Florence, after an illness.

Mrs. Josey was born on October 23, 1935 in Williamsburg County, daughter of the late Carl Abrams and Annie Iola Tanner Evans.

Mrs. Josey was preceded in death by the father of her children, Joseph A. Harrington; her second husband, Waitus E. Greene; siblings, Lester Lonzo Evans, Eunice Evans Thompson, Alma Myrthero Jones Dority and Doretha Evans Locklair Turner.
