Juanita Regan Bowen Josey, 82, of Blakely died Wednesday, May 9, 2007.

Mrs. Josey was born in Early County Aug. 13, 1924, to the late John Howard and Lessie White Regan. She was a seamstress and homemaker. She was a member of Jakin Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Vinson Alton "Bo" Bowen and John Josey; and one brother, Carlton Regan.

Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Ward and husband Ernest of Woodstock, Ga., and Betty Miller and husband Jerry of Jakin; one brother, Sidney Regan and wife Martha of Spanish Fort, Ala.; four sisters, Belle Herring of Donalsonville, Wynell Kirkland of Haines City, Fla., Jewell Buckhalter of Jakin and Hazel Flamiano and husband Jerry of Petersburg, Va.; one sisterin law, Emily Regan of Blakely; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 12, 2007, at 10 a.m. at Jakin Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Holmes and Rev. Herman Enfinger officiating. Interment followed at Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Colquitt.

Pallbearers were Ernie Ward, Matthew Ward, Chris Osborn, Jeff Miller, Stacy Miller and Steve McClellan.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
