STURGIS - Joseph David Josey, 60, died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2006, at the Oktibbeha County Hospital. He was born in Columbus. He was retired from Plumbers & Steam Fitters Local 714. He was a member of Christian Love Fellowship and a U.S. Navy veteran.


Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Welch Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dudley and Lucy Nash, and the Rev. Carolyn Hulen officiating. Burial will be in Wake Forest Cemetery.


Survivors include one daughter, Caroline Josey of Vernon, Ala.; his mother, Maurine Josey of Sturgis; one brother, Jack Josey of Sturgis; one niece, Angel Josey of Iuka.
