John Wilson Josey Jr 13 Oct 1934 - 13 May 1979

J.W. Josey Jr, 44, of Peaster died at his home Sunday. He was a member of the Church of Christ and a veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Josey is survived by his son Kenneth and his daughter Cheryl, of the home, and by his mother, Ruby Lee Josey of Weatherfiord.

Also surviving are his sisters, Mrs. Mae Bruce of cool, Mrs Johnnie Murphy on Mineral Wells, Mrs. Joe Dobbs of Fort Worth, Mrs. Ruby Summer and Mrs. Ruth Hampton both of Lubbock and Mrs. Janis Faye Borges of Tracy, Calif., and two brothers, Paul Wayne of Fort Worth and Claude J Josey of Mertens, Texas.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Whit's Chapel on Memories. Burial will be at Ervin Cemetery.
