Helen Josey Waldhour


Blackshear - Helen Josey Waldhour, 68, died Friday at
Satilla Regional Medical Center in Waycross after a long illness.
She was born in
Sumter, S.C., and was a member of Ardsley Park Baptist Church. She was employed as a bookkeeper and a manicurist with Coiffures by Irene.
Surviving are a son, James W. Waldhour, Jr. of Navarre, Fla.; four daughters, Belinda Fortner of Blackshear, Cheryl DeLoach of Ellabell, Cindy Roberts of Rincon and Judy Colson of Warner Robins; three sisters, Marcella Wongrey and Mrs. Theo Docia Eberhardy, both of Sumter, and Irene Funderburke of Savannah; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral:
2 p.m. Monday at Thomas C. Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, burial in Jerusalem Lutheran Church Cemetery.
