Helen Josey Douglas -MACON - Mrs. Helen Josey Douglas, 83, of Macon died Sunday, December 26, 2004 in Gainesville, GA. Funeral services for Mrs. Douglas will be held Wednesday, December 29 at 2P.M. in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Rex Odom officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 28 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. -Mrs. Douglas, a native of Macon since 1937, was a Registered Nurse. She was a member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late James Madison Josey and Velma Byrd Josey. She is the widow of the late J. Broadus Douglas. -Survivors include one daughter, Josey Douglas Hunt of Gainesville; three grandchildren, Rick Hunt of McDonough, Doug Hunt of Boston, Mass., Dana Peters of McDonough; and five great grandchildren, Cole, Caleb, Catey, Benjamin and Emily. -Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
