Hazel Josey Williams, 87, a resident of Montgomery, formerly of Tuskegee, Alabama, went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, May 10, 2007. Born March 18, 1920 in Castleberry, Alabama, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 69.5 years Penniman Marvin Williams. She is survived by one brother John (Carolyn) Josey of Birmingham and one sister Martha Josey Windham of Greenville. Four daughters, Virginia Huggins (Glen) of Andalusia , Geraldine Bohn (Jimmy) of Hope Hull, Marilyn Carpenter and Marianne Williams of Montgomery. Five grandaughters, Sandy Cauthen (Bill) of Prattville, Jeni Huggins of Montgomery, Beth Whitehurst (Brian) of Andalusia, Cara Casey (Warren) of Hope Hull, Anna Ward (Brian) of Andalusia. Eight great grandchildren, Alex (Marli), Ian, Chelsea and Faulkner Cauthen, Caleb Whitehurst, Hayden and Tucker Ward and Ava Casey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Vaughn Park Church of Christ. She taught Sunday School for many years at Tuskegee Church of Christ. Memorial service to be held at Vaughn Park Church of Christ, Saturday, May 12, at 11am. Visitation at church beginning at 10am. Brad Sullivan minister, officiating. Graveside service at 3pm, Tuskegee Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Family Care fund at the Vaughn Park Church of Christ.
