Harold Josey of Molino, Florida gained his angel wings on December 28th. He was 72. After years of fighting some pretty tough medical battles, he was ready to be with the Lord.
If you know Harold, you know that he would not want you to read his obituary without reading some part of the bible. The above verse was one of his favorites.
Harold was born in
Crestview, Florida and was the son of Agnes and Frank Josey. He had a loving family, but life wasnt easy. He grew up picking cotton and doing some share cropping. He was also quite the athlete and even earned a basketball scholarship. When that didnt go as planned, he enlisted in the Air Force. The bad thing about that was going to Vietnam. The good thing about that was meeting the love of his life in Browns Mills, NJ. After the Air Force, he became a teacher and coach. Many people still refer to him as Coach Josey! He touched many lives as a coach and a science teacher.
Harold and Linda were married for 50 years and celebrated their anniversary in August. They had two children, Leisa and Bryan. He was a good father who always took care of his children and did the best he could to teach and guide them. He was also a loving grandfather.
Harold loved God, his church, his family, hunting, fishing and
Alabama

Football! RTR!!
He is preceded in death by Agnes Mears Josey (mother), Frank Josey (father), Jerry Josey (brother), James Josey (brother), Rita Strickland (sister), Blondell Dorris (sister), Florell Jellison (sister), and Eva Cadenhead (sister).
