Gwendolyn Jean Harrop Josey, Age 96, Halifax, passed away in the VG Site, QEII, on September 2, 2020. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Fredrick J. and Helen (Ferguson) Harrop. Gwen was born and raised in Halifax and she will be remembered for her love of the outdoors. As a young woman she spent many days swimming and canoeing at the family's summer home in Kinsac. Gwen worked for many years at Simpsons as a Personal Shopper and liked being able to shop every day and not spend anything. Gwen, along with her husband Basil, loved to travel with trips to Europe and Hawaii as well as many other locations throughout the United States and Canada. They also spent many enjoyable summers at their trailer at Evangeline Beach. Gwen was predeceased by her husband, Basil; brother, Edgar Harrop; and sister, Eleanor Floyd.
