Mr. Grady Josey of Bainbridge, Ga. and Panama City, Florida passed away on October 20, 2012, at his daughter's home in Panama City with family at his side. He was 98.

Mr. Josey was born in Decatur County Georgia on July 1, 1914 and lived his entire working life in Decatur and Seminole Counties. Grady worked twenty plus years for Willis Lumber Co. in Bainbridge and then he worked for Georgia Tubing in Early County until he retired at age 79.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Annie Ingram Josey, granddaughter Robin Roland, son-in-law, James Shepard; parents: Charles and Susie Hunter Josey; along with three brothers and three sisters.

Grady is survived by one daughter: Eudonis Shepard of Panama City; one son: Randall Josey and wife Virginia of Panama City; his five grandchildren: James Shepard Jr. and wife Pam of Panama City, Gary Shepard and wife Michelle of Frontenac, KS, Randall Josey Jr. and wife Mary of Dallas, TX, Kendall Josey of Panama City and Danny Tharp and wife Becky of Bainbridge, GA; eight great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donnie Jackson officiating. Internment will follow that afternoon at Bethel Cemetery in Decatur County, GA at 3:30 p.m. Central time / 4:30 p.m. Eastern time.. The family will receive friends at Heritage Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2012.
