Grace Jackson, 83, of Dunedin Fla., a former Niagara
Falls resident, died Tuesday (Feb. 7, 1989) in Florida.
A native of Glasgow, Scotland, she came to the United
States in 1930, settling in Buffalo. She moved to Niagara
Falls in 1934.
Her parents, the Rev. John and Marion (Izatt) Bever.
idge, founded the City Mission at Main and Second
streets. She was involved in mission work with them
through the 19{Os and 1950s. She was a clerk at Diffine's
Dairy from 1950 until 1968, when she moved to Dunedin.
Her husband, Albert E. Jackson, died in 1966.· '7
She is survived by a son, John B. Jackson of Niagara
Falls; a daughter, Marion Josey of Dunedin, Fla.; a sis-
ter, Janet West of Niagara Falls; 10
grandchildren, eight
great-grandchildren and several nieces
and nephews. She
was the mother of the late Albert E. Jackson Jr.
There will be
no prior visitation.
Private funeral services will be
held at the convenience /
of the family with the Rev.
William Wallenbeck of Niaga-
ra Community Church officiating. Burial
will be in Niag-
ara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery.
Contributionsto the Niagara Community Church, 10500
Cayuga Drive, are acceptable as tribute.
