Glenn
Edward Saline, 69, was called home by his heavenly father on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014,
after a short battle with cancer. He waited 18 long days before following his
beloved wife Linda's footsteps and returning to her arms.
Glenn was born in Aztec, Sept.
5, 1944, to Glen and Pearl Saline. He grew up
in Blanco and graduated from Bloomfield
High School.
He later served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
in western Canada.
He enjoyed writing poetry, studying history, hunting, fishing, singing and
talking into the wee hours of the morning with family and friends.
Glenn is survived by his children, Michelle, Leanne, Thomas, Annette, Deanna,
Robert and John; his grandchildren, Billy, Travis, Jesse, Michael, Emma,
Ashton, Havana,
Trever, Logan, Riley, Makenzie
and Athena; and his sister, Janice.
A funeral service will be at 10
a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, at the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints, N. Oliver Drive
in Aztec.
Glenn's care is entrusted to Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103
E. Ute St. in Farmington,
