Gladys Louise Josey Harrison

Gladys Josey Harrison, 70, of Bainbridge, Ga., died Friday.

The service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Ivey Funeral Home in Bainbridge (229-246-3232), with burial at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Brinson, Ga. Family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 2939 Bethel Road, Brinson, GA 31725.

A native of Decatur County, Ga., she was a longtime resident of Bainbridge. She was assistant manager of Ruben's Men and Boys Shop when she retired. She was a member of Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church in Climax, Ga.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Harrison of Climax and Wendell Harrison of Hesperia, Calif.; two daughters, Jackie Harrison Rhyner and Karol Harrison Butler of Bainbridge; three sisters, Ruth J. Harrell and Agnes J. Edmunds of Bainbridge and Marcia Ann J. Green of Camilla; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
