JOSEY, Gerald J. December 10, 1925 - August 14, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of Gerald J. Josey announces his passing on August 14, 2008 at the age of 82 years. Gerald is survived by his three children; Sandy, Ron (Holly) and their children Katie and Paul, Carol (Gil) and their children Simon (Crystal), Danny, Julian, and Nicole; and great-grandson Kody. Gerald is also survived by his sister in-law, Melita (James), brother in-law, Dr. Erich Berendt, as well as many nieces and nephews. Gerald is predeceased by his wife, Hertha, sister, Madeline and four brothers, Garner, Roy jr., Alex, and John. Gerry will be remembered by the many loves he had in life, entertaining, golf, singing, volunteering, and overall "joie de vivre." He had a great sense of humor and always looked for the positive in everything. Prayers and Celebration for Gerald will be held on Monday, August 18th at 7:00 p.m., at the Connelly-McKinley Downtown Chapel. A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, August 19th at 10:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Church, 18407 - 60 Avenue, Edmonton with Reverend George Neumann officiating.
