HAYNES Frank Ray Haynes, age 81,
born on September
7, 1931 in Canton, MS and a lifelong resident of
Lucedale, died on Wednesday, April 3, 2013. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Lucedale, MS. He served in the US Army and was
a Korean War veteran. He was employed at Ingalls
Shipbuilding and Dry-dock, and Fluer Daniels at
Chevron in Pascagoula, MS. His greatest enjoyment in life was fishing and
hunting with his grandson Brandon, gardening and reading and playing games with
the neighborhood children. Frank was preceded in death by his daughters, Lee
Ann Tisdale and Linda Arlene Haynes; parents, Chelista
Haynes and John T. Haynes; sisters Robbie Zell
Harris, Catherine Bryant; sister-in law, Peggy Haynes and brother-in-law
Russell Harris. Survivors include his devoted wife of 55 years, Melinda Haynes;
grandson, Brandon Tisdale and fiance, Terri Triplett
of Hattiesburg, MS; brothers, John T. Haynes, Jr., of Leakesville, MS and Glenn
T. Haynes of Chattanooga, TN; brother-in-law, Conrad (Gloria) Josey; Priscilla
(George) Knight, Ginny Martin, Francis Bearry and
Gail (Philip) Pine, and a large loving extended family of nieces, nephews and
cousins. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 8 2013 at the Sigler Funeral Home,
Lucedale, MS. Visitation to start at 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM on Monday. Interment will follow
at Magnolia Cemetery, Lucedale. Honorary pallbearers
will be the Men's Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church. The family
request in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Baptist
