Essie Inez Josey Barnett was born March 8, 1910 in Georgia and was formerly a resident of Tallahassee and Greenville, Florida, where she was active in the Greenville Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late William Brady Barnett and daughter of the late Robert (Bob) Josey and Lucy Ivey Josey. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ellen Letchworth of Flagstaff, AZ; two granddaughters, Calvina Fay Olivieri of St. Petersburg and Martha Stewart of Flagstaff; a grandson, Thomas George Letchworth of California; six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, William Letchworth.
