Elizabeth Ann "Beth" Josey Watson

 

AMORY - Beth Josey Watson, 52, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, at the Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center in Amory after a brief illness. She was born April 23, 1954, in Starkville to Ruth White Josey and the late James Thomas Josey. She was a 1971 graduate of Starkville schools and attended Vaughan's Beauty College in Aberdeen. She was the owner and operator of Sac's Salon in Amory for many years. She was a Baptist. She enjoyed her grandchildren, playing softball and keeping up with her nephews.
Services will be at
1 p.m. today at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Ministers Philip Hathcock and Russell Smith officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. at Oddfellows Cemetery in Starkville.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Watson of Amory, whom she married in 1980; her mother, Ruth Josey of Starkville; her grandmother, Mary White of Starkville; two sons, Shane Gray of Starkville and Cody Watson of Amory; one daughter, Angel Watson Camp (Stanley) of Amory; two sisters, Karen Riekhof of Tupelo and Jeanne Josey of Telluride, Colo.; two grandchildren, Lindsey Camp and Ashley Camp; three nephews, Rieves Riekhof and Thomas Jae Riekhof of Starkville, and Layton Hebert of Telluride, Colo.; two special friends, Carol Smith of Amory and Susie Shurden of Starkville.
Pallbearers will be Brent Stanford, Buzz Abney, Brian Jones, Dustin Goodwin, Kyle Holloway and John Craig Griffith.
Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Smith, Brandon Smith, Carl Smith, Ryan Smith, Christopher Alim, Cameron Alim and Naveed Alim.
Visitation will continue until service time today at the funeral home.
