Eddie Bayne Josey Sr., 77, of
Evansville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at his home.

Eddie was born in
Greenville, Kentucky on September 19, 1941. He honorably served in the United States Army and the Marines. Eddie spent his career working as a truck driver and later as a dispatcher for Hamrick's Towing. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and horses. Eddie never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew him.

Eddie is survived by his daughters, Christina Talley (Ricky) and Evelyn Dean (Donald); sons, Michael, Eddie and James Josey; daughter-in-law, Leila Josey, all of Evansville; by his mother, Dorothy M. (Grundy) Camplin; sisters, Pamela Dukes and Diana Harper; step-brother, Norman Camplin; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and by his best friends, Billy and Deanna Gordon.

Eddie was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Faye (Bodell) Josey in 2016; by his father, Bailey Josey; by his son, Mark Josey; and by his granddaughter, Kelly Talley.

A gathering for family and friends will be held from
3:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711. The Marine Corps League of Evansville will conduct military honors at 7:00 PM.
