Josey Dwayne Allen Josey, 65, of Oklahoma City, Okla., was born Feb. 21,
1941, in Plainview, Texas, and passed away on Aug. 22, 2006, in Norman, Okla.
Dwayne lived in Texas most of his life, and later moved to Wichita, Kan.,
were he lived for 18 years, and then resided at Lake Tenkiller. He is
survived by his son, Rick Josey of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Shannon
Baker of Big Cabin, Okla., and Mandi Prine of Nocona, Texas; eight
grandchildren, Tiffany, Zack, Samantha, Katie, Seth, Grady, Kalei and Olivia;
one sister, Marilyn Bullock of Floresville, Texas; and four nephews. Funeral
services are at 11 a.m.Friday, Aug. 25, 2006, at Southern
Hills Church of God in Oklahoma City,
located at 1029 S.W. 74th. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at John M. Ireland Funeral
Home, located at 120 S. Broadway in Moore, Okla.
Interment will be at 10 a.m.Monday, Aug. 28, 2006, at ParklawnMemorialGardens
in Plainview, Texas.
