- Dorothy (Sadler) Josey, 96, died Sunday,
March 18, 2007, at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home.
She was a sales clerk for the Federated Department Store and a member of Earlington First Christian Church.
Surviving are a son, George; sisters, Virginia Wagner and Kathleen Baker;
three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services 2 p.m.
Wednesday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home, burial in
Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m.
Tuesday and 11 a.m. to service time.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church.

MADISONVILLE,
Ky. –– Alice Sadler, 98, of Madisonville, died at 1 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 13,
2005, at the Senior Citizen Nursing Home in Madisonville.
She
was born March
25, 1906, in Earlington, Ky., to
the late George Thomas and Mary Caroline Brewer Sadler. She was a member of
First Christian Church in Earlington and was a school
bus driver for Hopkins County Schools for 25 years.
In
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters and one
brother.
She
is survived by four sisters, Mary Elizabeth Davis and Dorothy Josey, both of Madisonville,
Kathleen Baker of Elizabethtown, Ky., and
Virginia Wagner of Lincoln Park, Mich.; and
several nieces and nephews.
Funeral
services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday
at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Brian
Morse officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Visitation
will be from 4 until 8 p.m.
Saturday and from 1 p.m. until
service time Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial
contributions may take the form of donations to Earlington
First Christian Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
