Deborah Anne Towell Smith, 51, of Six Mile, passed away on 2 December 2011 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC.

She was co-founder and teacher at Foothills Montessori School in Powdersville, SC. She earned her BA degree from Limestone College and her MA degree in counseling from Webster University.

She is survived by her son Tavish Josey, her father Dr. Robert Towell, and her sister Elizabeth Rogers.

The service will be held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Clemson, SC at 2:30 PM, Wednesday, December 7th. For further details call 864-654-5071 at the church.
