doubt there will be an obituary. Byron (Bo) and Naoko stayed to themselves for
52 years and did not associate with anyone. Basically,
hermits. Just bought a new home in July and had not even unpacked all
their stuff when he just keeled over in the backyard at the foot of the stairs
and no one found him for almost two days. We have a mess on our hands, since
the social worker called my other brother, Buddy and he called me. He directed
the social worker and detective to me to handle everything. It was a Friday
afternoon, and everyone had gone home, and left me a message they would call me
back Tuesday. Will see what happens tomorrow. In the meantime, Bo is lying in
the morgue/coroner's office. No one in the police department can find out
anything - his wife had to be taken to the hospital, ICU, as Bo had been her
caregiver, as she is so deep into dementia one minute she knows he is dead and
the next she is asking where he is. She can't help with the situation. She has
no family. No one has any idea what his last wishes were. He was supposed to
have a lot of money put back - as he said "Naoko would be well taken care
of in the event of something happening to him." It is just a mess.
