Bruce David Mylles formerly of Oakfield, New York entered into rest on Tuesday January 8, 2020 at his Florida home with his family by his side. He was born on October 16, 1935 in Buffalo, New York, the son of Allan Robert and Unity Irene Woods Mylles.

A long time resident of Oakfield and Central Florida he graduated from Oakfield Central High school class of 1955. He married Shirley Josey on July 30, 1955.

Prior to his retirement in 1994, he worked many years at Niagara Mohawk as a Traveling Operator among other positions.

Enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1956, he served his country in Japan with an honorable discharge as a corporal.

He served many years in the Oakfield Fire Department, was a Boy Scout leader, and a member of the Oakfield Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed camping with his wife, children, niece, and cousins. He was an avid motorcycle rider. Motor-homing with the Coachman Club, he and his wife crisscrossed America for many years from New York to Alaska every state in the union except Hawaii.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley; son, Bruce Mylles; daughter, Shelia Conklin (Lester); son, Brian Mylles (Cynthia); five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A private family Memorial Service was held at his Florida home with his nephew officiating.
