Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche Nelms Josey, 75, of 601 Glenmar Ave., Monroe, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Mulhearn's Funeral Home of Monroe with the Rev. Earl C. Whitsitt officiating.

Burial will be in Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe.

She died Thursday at Glenwood Hospital after a brief illness.

Mrs. Josey was a native of Donaldson, Ark. and a long time resident of the Twin Cities. She was retired as deputy city clerk for the city of West Monroe. She had served in that position for more than 30 years. Mrs. Josey was a member of the First Southern Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Guilford McCleery of Monroe; three grandchildren, Lt. Charles McCleery of Schweinfurt, Germany, Miss Mary Katherine McCleery of Monroe and Mark McCleery of Monroe.

Pallbearers will be Joe C. Brown Jr., Jessie Heard, J. O. Fleming Sr., Landon Miles, Jasper Jones and Billy Fleming.
