Billy Joe Josey

LAGUNA PARK - Billy Joe Josey, a deliveryman for Tex-Pac Express, died Monday at a Bay City hospital. He was 64.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian. Burial will be in Meridian Cemetery.

Mr. Josey was born in Iredell and moved to Meridian nine years ago.

He had lived in Laguna Park for three years.

Mr. Josey had worked for Haliburton Corp. in Nebraska and had been a police officer in Mississippi.He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Meridian.

Survivors: Two sons, James Josey of Bay City and Jason Josey of Jacksonville; three daughters, Joan Evans of Laguna Park, Angela Whitmire of Pasadena and Melissa Jennings of Angleton; two brothers, Leroy Josey of Pasadena and Gary Josey of Round Rock; sister, Joyce Drenning of Trinity; eight grandchildren; and two

great-grandchildren
