Bertha Viola Josey Jenkins

Bertha Viola Jenkins, 81, born October 4, 1932 in Hempstead, Texas entered into eternal rest August 1, 2014. Bertha is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Jenkins; parents: Willam Josey Sr. and Amy Josey; sister, Willie Lee Allen; brother, William Josey Jr.; grandson, Trevor Sexton. Left to cherish her precious memories: son, Curtis Jenkins; daughter, Karen Sexton and husband Ron, grandsons: Joshua Jenkins and Dustin Sexton; granddaughter: Kortney; great grandson: Kayven Sexton; siblings: Thomas Josey, Ethel Apshire, Betty Jensen, Erma Granier, Lucille Franks, Bernice Tanton, Sibyel Balla, Sidney Airheart, James Josey Sr., and Marvin Josey; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 12-2pm with Funeral Services beginning at 2pm in the Family Chapel of Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
