Anthony Earl Josey

AMERICUS -- Anthony Earl Josey, better known as Booker, succumbed this life to cancer on Feb. 20, 2004. Graveside service is set for 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 23, at the Andersonville National Cemetery, Andersonville.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Mr. Clarence Josey Jr. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Leila Mae Josey; one sister, Mrs. Deborah (Raymond) Burks; four brothers, Mr. Clarence Josey III, Mr. Ronald Josey, Mr. Ernest M. Josey, all of Americus and Mr. Johnny F. Josey of Conyers; three nieces, Ms. Amber L. Josey, Ms. Leila-Chassity Jones and Ms. Rayven Josey Burks; three great aunts, Mrs. Earlene Josey Coleman of Newark, Mrs. Irene Johnson of Pompano, Fla. and Mrs. Ruby Josey of Cleveland; five aunts, Ms. Ozella White, Ms. Alma White, Ms. Doris Josey, Mrs. Viola Josey (James) Bridges and Mrs. Addie Pearl Josey; one uncle, Mr. Charlie "Seay" (Willie) Josey of Belle Glade, Fla. and a host of cousins and friends.
