Annie Virginia Josey March 20, 1921- August 22, 2007 AUBURN, AL— Funeral service for Annie Virginia Joseph, 86, of Auburn, AL. is 3 p.m. CST Saturday, August 25, 2007 at Jeffcoat-Trant Chapel. Burial is in Fort Mitchell National Cemetery. Rev. Hank Demous is officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service. Mrs. Josey, who died August 22, 2007 at Bethany House was born March 20, 1921. She had lived most of her life in Columbus, Ga. and was a member of Edgewood Presbyterian Church in Columbus. Mrs. Josey had lived the past 2 years at Azalea Place Assisted Living in Auburn. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Josey was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, 1st Sgt. William Joel Josey. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Davis (Larry) of Auburn, Suzanne Pugh (Mike) of Auburn; grandchildren, Tad Davis (Lea) of Iowa City, Iowa, Jamie Smith (Greg) of Huntsville, AL., Amanda Kirk (Robbie) of Ardmore, AL., Ron Yarbrough, Jr. of New York City, NY., Seth Yarbrough (Lindsay) of Montgomery, AL., Kate Pugh of Atlanta, GA., Kristen Pugh of Montgomery, AL.; Michael Pugh of Auburn, and six great grandchildren, Dylan and Brigid Davis, Kansas and Jackson Kirk, Jonah Smith and William Yarbrough, Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to East Alabama Medical Center Foundation for Assisted Living Facilities. Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home of Opelika, AL. is directing.
