She was preceeded in death by her parents; husband,
Frank; son, Edward; and daughter, Rita Stickland.
She is survived by a sister, Mellie Gregory of San
Jose, Calif.; four sons, James and wife Melva of
Crestview, Jerry of Crestview, Harold and wife Linda of Molino, Fla., and
Ronnie and wife Darlene of Crestview; four daughters, Flo
Jellison and husband Harold of Crestview; Blondell Dorris of Smyrna, Tenn.,
Virginia Oatman and husband Ross of Crstview, and Eva Cadenhead and
husband Greg of Crestview; 24 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday at Central Baptist Church from 6
to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at Central Baptist Church on Wednesday,
Sept. 14, at 10 a.m, with the Revs. Robert Cates and Johnny Brown officiating. Pallbearers for
Ms. Josey's funeral service will be grandsons. Burial will follow at
Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home is entrusted with
arrangements.
