Funeral services for Agnes Josey Edmunds, 71, of Bainbridge, were held Saturday, Dec. 24, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl G. Garnett and Elder Roy Harrison officiating.

Interment followed in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery near Brinson with Travis Green, Greg Green, Kenny Harrison, Buck Rhyner, Ben Harrell, Joe Butler, James Butler and Joey Butler serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Edmunds died Friday, Dec. 23, 2005, at Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Brinson, and graduated from Brinson High School in 1951. She was a retired nursing assistant and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde R. Edmunds, and a son, Gary Landrum.

Survivors include a son, Walter R. Landrum of Bainbridge; a daughter, Tanya Sorrelle, also of Bainbridge; two sisters, Ruth Josey Harrell of Bainbridge, and Marcia Josey Green of Camilla; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
